지하철에 탔는데, 플랫폼에 해링 형이 있어서 셀카 찍었다.

전시장 입구에 있는 해링 사인. 건축 모형을 만들어야 할 입장이 되고 보니, 제작 방식이 궁금해진다. CNC 썼겠지?
Haring's Signature at the entrance. Wondered how is it made because he applied to architecture school. It Used CNC right?
전시 설명에 의하면, 젊은 시절 해링은 상업 디자인을 가르치는 대학교에 입학했다가 상업 디자인에 흥미를 못 느껴 뉴욕의 학교(SVA)에 다시 들어갔다고 한다. 그리고는 자신만의 양식으로 상업 디자인을 하게 된 거지.
According to the description, young Haring felt no interest in commercial design when he entered design school in Pittsburgh so he moved to New York's design school (SVA). In New York, he was able to involve in commercial design with his distinctive style.
원한다면, 어린 아이도 종이로 따라 만들어 볼 수 있는 그의 작품.
His artworks freed kid to imitate if they tempt to do.
장벽을 허무는 것, 박종한의 관심사 중 하나이다. 그는 개방성을 절대선으로 여긴다.

위의 두 섹션이 내게 가장 큰 만족감을 주었다. 왼쪽은 해링이 윌리엄 버로우와 함께 한 그림 책 작업. 버로우의 텍스트와 해링의 그림 사이의 묘한 긴장감이 좋았다. 오른쪽은 '블루프린트 그림'. 캔버스가 떠다니는 것 같은 전시 구성이 좋았다. 전체적으로 종한 같은 미알못도 지루하지 않게 즐길 수 있도록 장치를 꼼꼼히 해 두었다.
Two of most satisfying section. Left side is book illustration by Haring with William Burroughs. Jonathan like the tension that created between Burroughs' text and Haring's paintings. Right side is the section of 'blueprint paintings'. Exhibition composition which is surrealistic, feeling like canvas is floating, was gorgeous. Generally, in this exhibition, curator team carefully installed stimulating tricks for the people who don't know much about art like Jonathan.
This mention shows Haring's pureness.
"My best motivation is contact with people since beginning. It was so worth that recognized by people for painting. During a week, very large number of people went by my drawing. Lots of people was able to see my drawing as I felt completely rewarded if it displayed only a day."
